Twenty Tools, One Place
This section brings together every calculator on the site - from everyday mutual fund tools like SIP, lumpsum and step-up SIP, to deposit and loan calculators like FD, RD and EMI, to longer-horizon planning tools for retirement, a child's education, and NPS. Each one is a real, working calculator with correct underlying formulas, not a marketing widget - the same math that powers the return figures elsewhere on this site.
How These Calculators Relate to the Rest of the Site
Every fund page on this site already includes a return calculator scoped to that specific fund's actual historical NAV. The calculators in this section are different: they are general-purpose planning tools that don't depend on any one fund's data, useful for exploring "what if" scenarios, comparing products (a mutual fund SIP against a bank RD, for instance), or working through a multi-step financial goal before you've even chosen a specific fund. Once you have a target monthly investment figure from one of these tools, the AMC directory and individual fund pages are where you'd go to research and compare actual schemes.
Picking the Right Calculator
If you already invest, or plan to invest, a fixed amount every month, start with the SIP Calculator, or the Step-Up SIP Calculator if you expect your contribution to grow over time. If you have a lumpsum to invest instead, use the Lumpsum Calculator. If you're working toward a specific target amount and deadline - a goal, not just "grow my money" - the Goal-Based SIP Calculator, Retirement Corpus Calculator, and Child Education Planner all work backward from a target to a required monthly contribution. For comparing your existing investment performance, CAGR, Absolute Return, and XIRR each answer a slightly different version of "what return did I actually get" depending on whether your cash flows were a single lumpsum, a simple start-and-end comparison, or multiple irregular investments. And for fixed-income products - deposits, loans, and government schemes - the FD, RD, PPF, EMI, Simple Interest, and Compound Interest calculators cover the common cases.
A Note on Every Assumption You Enter
Every calculator here depends on the rate assumptions you provide - expected returns, inflation, interest rates. None of these are guaranteed or predicted by the tool itself; they are inputs you choose based on your own research and risk tolerance, and the results are only as realistic as those assumptions. Treat every output as a planning estimate to guide decisions, not as a promised outcome. None of this is investment advice - for decisions with real financial consequences, especially long-horizon ones like retirement, consider speaking with a qualified financial advisor.
Free, No Sign-Up Required
Every calculator on this page is free to use, requires no account or sign-up, and runs entirely in your browser - nothing you enter is saved or sent anywhere. Pick a tool from the list below to get started.
Built for Accuracy, Not Just Speed
Each calculator uses the correct, standard formula for what it claims to compute - the same annuity-based future value formula used industry-wide for SIPs, the same day-count-aware Newton-Raphson method spreadsheets use for XIRR, the same quarterly-compounding convention Indian banks use for FDs. Where two calculators could reasonably use the same underlying formula - a Recurring Deposit and the deposit side of the Mutual Fund vs FD Comparator, for instance - they deliberately do, so the numbers stay consistent everywhere you see them on this site. Every input has a sensible default so you can see a realistic result immediately, then adjust it to your own numbers using either the sliders or by typing directly into the fields.
Mobile-Friendly and Instant
Every calculator here recalculates the moment you change an input - there is no submit button to click and no page reload to wait for. The layout adapts to phone, tablet, and desktop screens equally, since most visitors researching a quick financial question are doing it on a phone. Charts, where included, are there to make a trend easier to read at a glance - a growing SIP curve, a depleting SWP balance, a side-by-side comparison bar - not just decoration.
